| Today (June 16, 2010) Tommy is not with us to celebrate his birthday, so today we celebrate his life. All the comments posted on his web site show the love and admiration that Tommy\’s family, his friends, and his students had for him. I am happy for Tommy and Colleen that, in honor of him, his web site continues. Tommy would be proud of the courage that Colleen has shown, just as he was proud of her for all her accomplishments. Colleen was the one who was there every day to give him the love and support he needed, whether personally or professionally. Colleen was the one who fulfilled his life. As we celebrate his birthday today, we will recall our special memories of Tommy and know that he will always live in our hearts. Carolyn Moss | |

| So many people have happy memories of Tom. He really connected with us as students in high school, with a smile and focused look that let you know he was really invested in what you were saying. The thing that stands out for me is that the older I get the more I realize just how special an ability that was and try to keep it in my own life. | |
